Types of Claims

New Claim

When a new claim is filed, it is usually best to let a Public Adjuster file the claim for you. This removes the possibility of mistakes that are usually made by the insured. It also speeds up the payment on the claim, because errors generally double or triple the time in which a settlement or payment is determined.

Pending Claim

Even if you have collected on an insurance claim for part of the damage that was determined by your insurance adjuster, it is not too late to fix mistakes made. We can adjust the claim and help get you what you deserve and what is rightfully yours.

Supplemental Claim

A supplemental insurance claim is something that is recognized by all insurance carriers, public insurance adjusters can reopen a claim that was done incorrectly or not complete. Many property owners accept what they are told by the insurance adjuster and find out later that the insurance company adjuster didn’t bother paying to replace water damaged cabinets or damaged flooring or drywall that was damaged and now falling apart. We can help you with this and we only receive payment if we find items that should have been repaired or under compensation in your original claim. In Virginia, you usually have two years from the date of the claim to make a supplemental claim, if the insurance adjuster missed something or there was underpayment.

Denied Claims

If your insurance claim was denied for any reason, you should get a free second opinion. We will review your insurance claim and a lot of times, we are able to get property owners or insurance policyholders compensation for previously denied claims.
